Games to play in your Tesla while charging
The games built into the car, the ones that run in the Tesla browser, and how to race friends from a Supercharger stall.
A charging stop is a game break
Twenty minutes at a Supercharger is long enough to get bored and too short to go anywhere. The screen in front of you is the easiest place to spend it, and every option below runs while the car is parked.
Games already in the car
Tesla’s own Arcade, in the app launcher, has a selection of games that run on the car’s computer, and some support a USB gamepad. Start there if you have never opened it.
Games in the browser
The in-car browser is Chromium-based, so web games run in it with no installation. Look for games built for touch and for a wide screen: small buttons and keyboard-only controls are hard to play on a car display.
Driwe Racing is built for exactly this. It runs at race.driwe.app, fits the car screen, and plays its engine sounds through the car’s speakers.
Use your phone as a controller
Touch controls on a car screen mean reaching across the dashboard. Driwe Racing pairs your phone instead: scan the code on the car screen and the phone becomes the wheel, with no app, no Bluetooth pairing and no sign-in on the phone. A supported gamepad works too.
Play against someone
A game is better with rivals. In Driwe Racing you can add friends by racing name and invite them into a room, share a private room code, or chase the daily challenge, where everyone races the same track and the board shows the gap to the place above you. Friends can join from their own car or from any browser.
Keep it parked
Every game here is for a parked car. Driwe Racing starts races only while the vehicle is parked and pauses if the car starts moving.
